Grosvenor Tropicals fully endorsees the OATA's policy on the humane  treatment of livestock. We may refuse any sale where we believe that a customer cannot provide a suitable environment for care of that species.

We do not supply Goldfish for use as prizes at Fetes, Fun Fairs or other events.

Pond Fish

When anyone mentions ponds the first fish which comes to mind is probably the Koi Carp, and whilst true that most ponds do have a few Koi, they are by no means the only species available. Indeed for many they are often the second choice behind the humble goldfish. However these are not the only suitable species and there are in fact numerous species which will live comfortably in medium sized garden ponds.

We always try to keep a good stock of Goldfish, Comets and Shunbunkins right throughout the Summer and hope have more of the 'Giant Goldfish' which have proved so successful in previous seasons.

Also back after a long absence are the Sturgeon in a variety of species.

Unusual and strangely beautiful creatures, these hardy fish are long-lived, and may eventually reach a length of 1.8M

Last, but not least, are of course the Koi. We have several sizes available in a bewildering array of colour combinations and all reasonably priced.

You can off course browse our web pages for further details, but nothing beats a visit to the shop to view the selection first-hand, so call in and see us soon.
